Hidden Armor! (UPDATED) 

Tired of dying to skeletons… but also tired of having to hide your awesome outfit with ugly armor?

WELL NO MORE!

This mod adds hidden variants of ALL craftable armor so you can stay protected in style!

Notice

If you used a Repair Kit on a armor piece, IT WILL NOT WORK FOR CRAFTING!

This is because the Repair Kit removes Max durability on each use, causing the item to technically be “different” than the item that is specified in the Hidden Armors crafting recipes.

I can’t work around this in the Asset Editor as the crafting/durability logic is hidden from me.

HOWEVER, you can install my new mod, Better Repair Kits!, which will fix repair kits breaking your armor and this mod!

How To Use

After installation, head over to your Armorer’s Workbench!

You will see new versions of each armor piece that no longer hide your clothing when equipped!

They only require the original, non-hidden armor to craft!

(MUST be full durability in order to count as a crafting material. Otherwise you could use broken armor to make new, hidden armor at full durability)

Installation

Drop the .zip file into your Mods folder (NOT your WORLD mods folder. Drop it in the mods folder found directly in your UserData folder)

Commonly found (on windows) at “D:{directory to your game installation location)HytaleUserDataMods”.

 

FAQ

Q: Can other people see my hidden armor?

A: Hidden Armors are hidden for ALL players on the server!

Q: Are the Hidden armors worse than the Regular ones?

A: Nope! They both have the same stats, so you can pick and choose which ones you want to wear!

Q: There’s an armor I want hidden but it’s not in your mod!
